I’ve been working feverishly on these “little gem oil paintings”. Scenics, for the most part, of the southwest and local area. They are fun to do and a tourist favorite. Easily packed into a suitcase and can be displayed on a table easel or framed. We are having a showing of the latest offering tonight at Simpson Gallery. Stop by if you get a chance.

We leave in 9 days and I want to have a nice selection of these little gem paintings done before launch date. I’ll be gone 30 days and the gallery is coming into the prime season. Daughter Mandy will be attending to business at the gallery for me while I’m gone. I’ve got to go however and will be painting along the way plus making a video of the experience. The list for preparation to leave is getting longer and a bit complicated but I’m confident I’ll work through it. I’ll be posting here on a daily basis so be sure to stay tuned.
