Still in the S L O W internet lane which makes it impossible to do anything with photos. Here’s some more boring text.

Made it to Ft. Nelson today. We’ve got a great camp spot in the Triple G Hide-A-Way cmpground. Skeeters are a little pesky but nothing 100% DEET can’t handle. It was a n interesting ride today. The scenery ranged from broken forest with some farm land to almost solid forest the farther we went. Tim was in the lead today and had a rather large black bear lumber across the highway in front of him. He said he had to grab a handful of brakes and gear down to keep from running into him. I was quite aways back so only caught a glimpse of him as he ran through the barrow ditch into the woods. Saw another bear on a hill side before we got into Ft. Nelson. Great stuff. More tomorrow.

I should also mention that being this far north it sure stays light out late. In fact last night I had to answer natures call and at 2:45 AM it was still a sort of twilight. Hard to tell if the sun was setting or starting to come up. Interesting.
