Quick Update From Dawson Creek, BC on the Long Ride North

Just wanted to let you know that all is well. We are in Dawson Creek, BC at Mile Post 0 on the Alasakan Highway. We finally made it. It has been a stunning ride the last couple of days. Sorry I don’t have any pics to post as internet service has been really sparse and when available it is really S    L    O    W. Can’t seem to upload any pics or video. When I can get into some faster service I’ll post them. Until then, this is it. Boring Text.

The ride from Banff, AB to Jasper and Hinton where we camped last night was absolutely fantastic. The scenery is uneaqualed. Today we rode from Hinton to Dawson Creek throug some pretty country, just not the rugged high mountains of the Canadian Rockies. Pretty in it’s own right however. The weather has been good. We got into some wet and muddy roads today with a lot of truck traffic. The bikes got trashed from the mud spray. What a mess. Glad we just missed the storm however as there was hail on the side of the road.

We’ve seen some great wildlife. A bear, elk, white tailed deeer Rocky Moutain Bighorn Sheep, and mountain goats. It’s been fun. Staying light late and hard to get to sleep. I’m going to try however. Later.
