The Gunnison River as it flows through the Black Canyon National Park in Colorado is known as Gold Medal Waters for trout fishing. Anglers from all over the world come to fish these waters. The scenic beauty of the area is second to none and very unique. Portions of the river are easily accessible while other portions remain a little more difficult to get to but well worth the effort. This painting depicts the area of the river, down stream from the East Portal.
This 21×28 watercolor was painted with professional graded paint on Arches paper.
