I rode the Harley to Sturgis for their motorcycle rally in 2010 with the express purpose of capturing some of the character bikers on the main drag. I was not disappointed. There were many to choose from. This gent rode up and parked his motorcycle across the street from me and I couldn’t resist taking his photo. I knew he’d make a great painting. His whiskers were all blown out from the wind on his ride into Sturgis as is the case with most of the bikers who have beards. I had a lot of fun with this one. It’s one of my favorites and gets a lot of comments in the gallery.
