In The Land of Liters and Meters

I got into the land of liters and meters this afternoon. I’m in Grand Forks, British Columbia having arrived about 4:30 local time. At least the Canadians use the same way to tell time as we do in the US. I have never figured out an easy way to convert liters other than being close to a quart, but all the speed and distances are in kilometers so I just multiply that figure by 60 and throw a decimal point in there where it seems appropriate. In other words, if the speed limit is 50 kph then converted to mph it is 30. Close enough.

This morning I arrived at the Harley dealer in Missoula at 8:45 AM. They took me in at 9:00 for a new rear tire and and oil change. They had me out promptly at 10:00. Grizzly Harley in Missoula, Montana. Pass the word around.

I’m keeping this post short because the internet here is really, really slow. Consequently no photos until I can get better internet. Still trying to figure out my cellular data with Verizon but so far no luck.

Anyway, all is good. The weather is quite warm and it is really dry around here. Very surprising.

More when I get better service.

Mike out.

Sounds like your trip is progressing right along. Saw the web site last time you went North & lost it but saw it today in the Press so decided to ride along.
Stay safe and will see you when you get back as have some questions for you.
