Another Productive Morning at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Yes, it was another productive morning at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. This is sure a great time of year to be up at the canyon. Not too warm, not too cool. Of course by afternoon it can get a bit toasty. It’s important to stay well hydrated while out there, regardless the time of day however. This Artist on a Harley (that’s me) was painting from the Rock Point overlook. A nice fella from Denver took this for me. Mike Painting AOAH Balck Canyon   I’ve slowly been working my way along the South Rim painting from each overlook. Sometimes it’s right from the parking area view and sometimes it’s farther down the trail. Depends on the light. All the views are spectacular, it’s just that some of them are better under a certain light condition. Here’s this morning’s effort. Rock-Point   I was out there a couple of days ago and did this one from Chasm View. Chasm-View I’ll ride up there again in the morning to see what else I can see. These are both 8×10 oil paintings and as usual, they are for sale. Contact me if you are interested. Thanks for tuning in.
