Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2014.

Well, it’s a new year and 2013 is behind us. Nothing we can do about it now. It’s gone, over and done with. I will say that 2013 was a pretty good year overall, but I’m really looking forward to 2014 and what it has to offer. I’ve got some big plans for this coming year and am excited to see how it all develops. Some of my planning was begun over the last month or so in preparation of the new year.

My new website, which you are in now, is part of the makeover. My blog has been incorporated into the mix and it is a one stop for all who are interested in me and what I do. I also plan on having more interaction with the various social media available.

I’ve decided it is time to focus on what I do best and enjoy the most, my painting. I’ve developed a business plan for my art career and am really excited about the possibilities and working the plan. Up until now I have been just sort of taking things as they come and it’s worked pretty much OK but now it’s time to ramp things up a bit and take charge of the situation. “It it is going to be, it’s up to me” sort of attitude.

As part of this take charge attitude, I am in the process of branding myself and what I do. It was an arduous process coming up with this but I’m sure glad I got it done as it is the driving force behind what I will be doing for the year and hopefully for the foreseeable future. Stay tuned for a post regarding this matter specifically.

If you’ve been following along at all, you know I like to ride my Harley and don’t mind taking off on extended trips. This year we plan on riding to Alaska, leaving June 15, my 66th birthday. I’ve developed a plan on how you can virtually participate in “The Long Ride North” which I will unveil in the next couple of days.

So, here’s to you. Happy New Year and may it be a successful and fulfilling year for you. “Clink”.
