Monida is an almost ghost town just on the Montana side of Monida Pass between Idaho and Montana. What makes it an “almost ghost town” is that there are less than a dozen people who live there. Just off I-15 it is an easy stop to get a few photos of what is left. This is an absolutely beautiful area and irresistible for my artist’s eye. This is one of my favorite “little gem” watercolors.
An original 7 x 10 image watercolor using professional grade Winsor & Newton paints in a Larson Juhl frame with an acid free off white double mat and museum UV filtered glass. I do my own gilding and framing.
