Crested Butte is a really neat little Victorian mining town turned ski resort and summer tourist hot spot. The alleys in these old mining towns make for some great subject matter. I’ve painted them here in Crested Butte, Colorado, Silverton, Colorado and Telluride, Colorado. Fun stuff. This watercolor was painted on location during the Crested Butte Plein Air Invitational I was a part of one year.
This 10 x 14 watercolor was painted with professional grade watercolor paints.
