I was wandering around Canyon Road in Santa Fe one day and got off onto a side street where I caught the light and shadows on this iconic looking adobe casa with a hand carved wooded gate that is so typical in the area. I particularly liked the way the shadows played across the wonderful salmon color of the adobe walls. This is one of my favorite paintings.
